What helped stars of 'Harry & Meghan' get into character?
LOS ANGELES - Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s whirlwind romance was written by Lifetime in a whirlwind!
'Lifetime' wasted no time and green-lit a movie based on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s romance when their engagement was announced on November 27th of last year.
The screenwriters are Scarlett Lacy who is a writer for The Royals and Terrence Coli who wrote for Switched At Birth. Lacy admitted it only took them two weeks to write the script and the reason why it was so quick may surprise you!
“Meghan’s [now defunct] blog, The Tig, was a source of a lot of great material for us,” said Coli. “To help us get into the character and understand who she is in real life.” Harry & Meghan: A Royal Romance premieres Sunday on Lifetime. Will you be tuning in?
