'Walk a Mile in Her Shoes': Harbor House to host domestic abuse awareness event
ORLANDO, Fla. - Harbor House of Central Florida is hosting its 12th annual "Walk a Mile in Her Shoes" event in Orlando in February.
What we know:
The event will take place on Thursday, Feb. 6, along the streets of downtown Orlando.
The nearly one-mile charity walk will start at the Orange County Courthouse and will end at Orlando City Hall.
Participants are encouraged to strap on high heels.

The "Walk a Mile in Her Shoes" charity walk is an event that raises awareness about domestic violence in Central Florida.
The funds raised during the event will support critical survivor programs and services through Harbor House of Central Florida.
Both men and women are encouraged to take part.
