With that familiar “Who Dat?” swag, Melanie Moore shelled out thousands of dollars two months ago confident the Saints would be playing at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Super Bowl Sunday. Obviously, that didn't quite work out for her. She said she has been depressed for the past two weeks over it.

Melanie sold the tickets, but decided to come to Atlanta to hang out with her sister and younger cousins, still rocking the shoes she planned to wear the cheer on the Saints.

She said she is looking forward to enjoying some of the free concerts and meet some of the players who are in town for the celebration.

At Rosie's Restaurant on Northside Drive, several football fans were grabbing a quick bite include the Skorulskis. They have lived in Connecticut for more than 20 years but had never made it to a Super Bowl game despite the Patriots’ nine trips.

Mike Skorulski complimented Mercedes-Benz Stadium and is thankful the weather has warmed a bit.

John Silverman came in from Canada and Korean Lindley drove up from Macon to attend everything but the game.

They said they plan to hit the Super Bowl Experience and Shaq’s Playhouse, but the tickets to the actual game were just too much.
