HENRY COUNTY, Ga. - Authorities are urgently seeking four men who used a BMW to smash into a pawn shop Thursday, searching for guns.
Henry County Police said the burglary happened a little after 1:20 a.m. at the Henry County Pawn & Gun located at 442 Eagles Landing Parkway near Stockbridge.
The video shows a BMW sedan driving in reverse fast, and smashing through the front of the store. The four men are then seen climbing over the car to storm the business.
Once inside, the video shows the men making quick work, smashing glass cases and putting items in their backpacks. They then climb back over the BMW and flee the scene.
The store tells us, the thieves got away with nothing; the pawn shop locks up all guns in safes every night, and leaves cases out on display.
[They] completely wasted their time, and caused a lot of damage for no reason," said store employee Curtis Fowler. The store has suffered thousands of dollars worth of damage and cleanup.
Anyone with information on the crime is asked to call the Henry County Police Department at 770-288-8264. Tipsters can also remain anonymous and call Crime Stoppers at 404-577-TIPS to receive a reward up to $2,000 for information leading to an arrest.
