U.S. Navy conducting bombing training in Ocala National Forest

The U.S. Navy will be conducting bombing training starting Friday in the Ocala National Forest. 

The U.S. Forest Service says the training will take place Father's Day weekend, from June 18-20.

During the event, the Navy will use live and inert bombs.

"Please avoid being in the immediate area of the Pinecastle Range Complex," the U.S. Forest Service warned. 

Due to the noise, wildlife may be temporarily displaced so officials are asking residents to use extra caution when driving through the Ocala National Forest. You may also see an increase of military aircraft flying overhead during this timeframe.
