Troopers identify man killed in hit-and-run

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. (WOLF FOX 35) - The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal hit-and-run crash involving a pedestrian in Orange County.

It happened at WD Judge Drive and Ferguson Drive at around 7:48 p.m. on Saturday.

Troopers were looking for a red or maroon Ford Mustang with front-end and windshield damage.

Troopers identified the victim as 40-year-old Xavier Barnes of Orlando.

The car troopers believed to have been involved in the crash was found Sunday morning at John Young Parkway and WD Judge Road, but the driver was gone, authorities said.
