Titusville Police arrest armed robbery suspect

TITUSVILLE, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - Titusville Police arrest an armed robbery suspect.

Officers took 26-year-old Quantavis Rashon Esau of Cocoa into custody on Wednesday evening.

Investigators say he was connected with a robbery at the Quality Inn Hotel on Cheney Highway that occured at 5:30 a.m. on July 22.

The preliminary investigation revealed that Esau, wearing all black with his face covered, entered the lobby of the hotel armed with a handgun, threatened the front desk clerk and forcibly took money from the register.

Titusville Police Detectives found substantial evidence linking Esau to the robbery and issued a warrant for his immediate arrest.
 
Esau was booked into the Brevard County Jail and is being held without bond.
