A family, still left in shock, after a car plowed into their home early Saturday morning.

The crash left three children trapped inside their room, as their parents frantically tried to pull them out.

It was around 2 a.m. when Natalie McCarthy woke to a loud crash in her quiet Space Coast Garden neighborhood. Moments later, she heard her husband screaming for their children.

"I was shocked I didn't even believe what he was saying. He was like oh my God, call 911," the mother of the children told us.

The car, driven by 44-year-old Johnny Woodberry, crashed into the bedroom of Natalie's 5, 7 and 15 year old boys, police say.

"My 5-year-old is screaming for his father, his head is hurting. My 15-year-old, his emotions got the best of him, he's crying, he doesn't know if his brothers are okay."

According to the police report, Woodberry lost control of his vehicle. Fox 35 spoke with the couple, they say they were on a date and were heading home, not far from where the accident happened. They remained on the scene, in shock.

Natalie rushed to get her children to the emergency room, "We're just happy that they are here, we could've lost everything but that we would've been devastated  if we lost our kids."

Natalie says the 7-year-old wasn't hurt, her two other boys suffered minor injuries and have since been released from the hospital. The driver was ticketed for Careless driving. Natalie hopes this is a lesson fro anyone driving through her community.

"We need to drive with more caution because things like this should not even happen matter what time it is. There are a lot of kids in this neighborhood, everyone just needs to be more mindful."
