Thieves steal entire ATM in Daytona Stadium
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - Daytona Beach Police are searching for thieves who stole an ATM from the Daytona Beach Municipal Stadium.
The incident happened overnight Wednesday. According to a police report, the stadium manager came to work early Wednesday and found the lock for the gates to the stadium broken. The then found the machine missing.
Sgt. Kelsey Harris with Daytona Beach Police said it was a difficult crime to pull off. There was $4,000 inside the machine. “This one was bolted to the ground, so they had to use some kind of tool or even ram it with a vehicle and lodge it off the ground,” he said.
