Target bringing same-day delivery to Orlando next month

ORLANDO, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - Retail giant Target will begin delivering to your door next month.

The company recently acquired same-day delivery company Shipt and will launch services in the Orlando area on February 8. Florida will be one of the first states to get the new option with Target expecting to roll it out to most of their stores by the 2018 holiday season.

Shipt has been delivering groceries in Central Florida for a few years now, bringing items straight to front doors from Public, ABC Wine, and Costco.

A representative said members pay a yearly fee and in exchange can order their items from the stores, and have them to their door as fast as an hour later.
