Suspect taken into custody after high-speed chase from Riverside to L.A County
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (FOX 11) - The California Highway Patrol arrested a suspect in a red Dodge Dart after a high-speed tri-county pursuit on Friday.
The hour-long pursuit started in Riverside County, went through Orange County, down Interstate 5 and ended in Commerce.
The suspect ditched his vehicle in the parking deck of the Crowne Plaza Commerce Hotel and Casino, where he was apprehended a short time later in the parking lot by CHP officers.
The suspect was wanted for making criminal threats related to domestic violence. Police said he may have made statements about harming officers.
The suspect's name hasn't been released at this time.
