Suspect sought in fatal Orlando shooting
ORLANDO, Fla. (FOX 35 Orlando) - Orlando Police are searching for a suspect, after 25-year-old Antoine Hunter was shot dead in the middle of the day on Friday.
Hunter's silver car found full of bullet holes in the parking lot at Village Springs apartments, in northwest Orlando. His family is calling for answers
“It's real messed-up to take away someone we love very much for no apparent reason,” said his aunt, Diane Carter.
Officers say that Hunter followed a woman, possibly his girlfriend, to the apartments. She called police for help. Moments later, the shooting started.
“He has a big family that love him. We're going to miss him. He was murdered. Murdered,” Carter said, “We have nothing. We have nothing left.”
Hunter’s family said the shooter should go to police.
“Be a man,” said Hunter’s uncle, Alex Carter. “If you're man enough to kill be a man and stand up and do the time, or whatever you need to do. He had a life and people who loved him, and you took that away.”
Police are searching for the shooter. They’re asking anyone with information about the shooting to please call them or Crimeline at 800-423-TIPS (8477).
