Surveillance images released in deadly SR 408 hit and run

Orlando police officers want know if you recognize a man in pictures and surveillance video released on Tuesday.

Investigators say he was driving a white Ford F-250 pick-up truck with a ladder on top January 16,  when he hit and killed 41-year-old Glenn Kale.  The man from Illinois was walking down the side of eastbound State Road 408, near Lake Underhill Road.  The crash shut down the road while OPD investigated.

The next day officers found that truck abandoned in an apartment complex parking lot.

Newly released surveillance video shows the man, whom detectives believe goes by the name Lisandro Perez, having a hard time backing the truck into a parking space.  Then, while he gets out the driver’s door, two men are seen getting out of the passenger side.  All three men can be seen walking up to the front passenger side of the truck and looking towards the bumper as if assessing some damage.

If you recognize the man in the pictures, you’re asked to call Orlando Police or Crimeline at 1-800-423-TIPS (8477).
