Sheriff questions release of criminal accused of attempted murder

VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. (FOX 35 WOFL) - The search is on for Lewis Boone.

Boone was arrest back in March for shooting a teen at Seminole Town Center, but he was released on his own recognizance.

But now, Boone is wanted for breaking into cars in Volusia County.

Sheriff Chitwood tweeted that he was shocked to hear Boone would be released on attempted murder charges.
