Robbery suspects hospitalized after chase ends in crash
ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - Two armed robbery suspects are hospitalized after leading police on a chase that ended in a crash.
According to the Orange County Sheriff's Office, a man entered the Discount Beer on N. Alafaya Trail in Orlando. Deputies said the man was armed and demanded cash from the clerk before leaving the scene.
Deputies were able to track down the vehicle matching the suspect's description on S.R. 408
The vehicle got off the highway, leading deputies on a chase, before crashing into a barrier wall while trying to get on the highway, according to deputies.
One suspect was arrested on-scene, while a second suspect was located nearby.
Both suspects were hospitalized for non-life threatening injuries from the crash.
