Rapper Nelly arrested for rape
RIDGEFIELD, Wash. (WOFL FOX 35) - Rapper Nelly has been arrested for allegedly raping a woman, according to TMZ.
The assault happened while he was on tour in Ridgefield, Washington.
Law enforcement told TMZ that the woman claims she was on his tour bus early Saturday morning when the rape happened.
TMZ says that he was arrested and booked on second degree rape charges.
The singer is currently on tour with Florida Georgia Line, and they were set to perform in Washington Saturday night.
At this point, no word from a representative from Nelly according to TMZ.
