Pulse victim was owner of 4 restaurants

APOPKA, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - One of the victims of the mass shooting in Orlando is Miguel Honorato, of Apopka.  His family said this was the first time he had ever been to the nightclub Pulse Orlando.  

"I’m just so sad that he’s gone. I can’t imagine what I’m gonna do without my little brother," said brother, Jose Honorato.

Jose said he and Miguel were not only brothers, they were best friends.  He got word Sunday morning that Miguel was shot and killed.  

Miguel and Jose’s family owns four Mexican restaurants in Central Florida. They worked together and spent time with their families together.  "He’s been working for our family since we opened our first restaurant back in 1988 here in Apopka," Jose said.

Miguel leaves behind his wife, Minerva, and three children.  He liked to work and then he also like to be with his friends and his family.  "We were planning a trip to Tennessee soon, but it will never happen," Jose said.
