Police: Cyclist injured after being shot with pellet gun

The Melbourne Police Department says that a recreational cyclist was shot with what was believed to be a high-powered pellet rifle.

The department says that on January 19th, the cyclist was shot while riding on the eastside of the Eau Gallie Causeway. The weapon sued is believed to be a high-powered pellet rifle. The victim sustained a serious injury to the leg.
