The Orange County Sheriff's Office on Monday released new details in a deadly home invasion.

Investigators say it was just before 5 p.m. on January 14, when someone with a gun stormed into a home near University Boulevard and Port Simbor Avenue.

Several people were inside the home when deputies say the gunman shot and killed 20-year-old Alexander Correa. He was rushed the hospital in critical condition but later succumbed to his injuries.

The circumstances around the shooting are still unclear. Officials said the shooting does not appear random.

In two photographs released by authorities, a man and woman have been identified as persons of interest.  Another photo is of a vehicle of interest.

Correa's family has set up a Go Fund Me page to help with funeral costs.  Crimeline is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest or arrests.  Anyone with information is asked to call 800-423-TIPS (8477).
