Pedestrian struck, killed by truck in Seminole County

FERN PARK, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - Troopers with the Florida Highway Patrol say a man was killed when he was struck by a truck.

FHP says the man was trying to cross the street, while walking a tricycle on U.S. Highway 17-92 in Seminole County, when the truck failed to stop and hit him.  Troopers say the man was walking within a crosswalk near the intersection with Fernwood Blvd.

The crash remains under investigation and charges are pending.
