Pedestrian dies after being hit by car in Ormond Beach

ORMOND BEACH, Fla. (FOX 35 ORLANDO) - Ormond Beach police are investigating after a pedestrian was struck and killed by a car Wednesday morning.

The fatal accident happened on W. Granada Blvd., just west of I-95 around 5:45 a.m.

The crash shut down all eastbound lanes of Granada Blvd. while police are on the scene. 

No other details have been released. Fox 35 has a reporter at the scene.
