Oviedo resident competing in Invictus Games
ORLANDO, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - Mike Roggio went from Navy rescue swimmer to not being able to move his legs for some time, after an accident and fall down some stairs. Roggio has been using swimming as a part of his rehabilitation and is now competing at a world class level.
The Oviedo resident will represent Team USA at this week's Invictus Games; an International Paralympic style multi-sport event, where wounded, injured, or sick armed service personnel and veterans compete against the rest of the world. The games start Friday.
