FOX 35 Storm Team Senior Meteorologist Noah Bergren is tracking rising shower and storm chances into the weekend.
ORLANDO, Fla. - Scattered showers and storms are expected to make their way across Central Florida this afternoon and heading through the evening.
Here's a look at what to expect from the weather today, this weekend and next week.

What To Expect:
This evening will feature scattered showers and storms across Central Florida. A few thunderstorms may be on the stronger side but should fizzle out after 10 p.m.

Heavy rainfall, strong winds, frequent lightning and the possibility of small hail are the main threats associated with the storms.
After the rain and storms die down, partly cloudy skies are on tap later tonight with warm and muggy conditions.
Highs will max out in the mid-90s, but with the humidity, heat indices will be about 105 degrees. Be sure to stay hydrated and listen to your body if you are planning on spending a lot of time outside.

What's next:
Daily storms continue into the weekend.
Rain chances will become more widespread across Central Florida into next week as we see tropical moisture from the Gulf impacting the forecast. These chances will stay high through the start of next week.
The main threats associated with the weather will be the heavy and torrential rain looking ahead.

It won't be a complete washout of a weekend, though. Mornings look good if you do have any outdoor plans.
The heat and humidity will be in full force through the weekend and next week. Temperatures will stay in the low and mid 90s, but with the humidity it will really feel hot outside. "Feels like" temperatures will be between 100-106 degrees.

There is no activity expected for the next seven days, according to the National Hurricane Center (NHC).
However, the Climate Prediction Center is clocking the possibility of tropical activity looking ahead two weeks to mid-July (16-22).
