Orlando residents bundle up for Friday's cold weather

People in Orlando embraced the cold weather with scarves and hats Friday night.

Temperatures near the Orlando International Premium Outlets dipped into the low 50’s while shoppers bustled around for last minute gifts. While many embraced the cold, some tourists were caught off guard. “I had to buy this jacket,” said a tourist from Brazil. “I was like no, I won’t need a jacket here, I’m going to be fine. Then I got here and thought oh, it’s pretty cold,” she said.

The outlets are still fully operational despite the weather change, and provides heat lamps for those looking to warm up. For some guests, the weather was not a deterrent at all. “I’m usually used to this because I travel up north a lot for skiing and whatnot,” a guest said.
