Orange County families displaced after house fires

Several families are displaced after two separate fires in Orange County.

Fire officials say they responded to a condominium complex on Eagle Boulevard in Orlando Tuesday morning to a reported car port fire.

Orlando Fire Rescue said the fire spread to a condominium on scene. No one was injured, but a pet was rescued from the burning home.

An investigator on scene told Fox 35 two families are displaced after the Eagle Boulevard fire. Damage is mostly to the exterior of two units in the building. An investigator on scene said it looks like the fire may be accidental, but the official cause is under investigation.

A second fire happened around 1:30 a.m. on Tuesday. Fire officials said they responded to a home on Oak Coven Court and arrived to find heavy fire at the home. 

Fire officials said three people and one pet were involved and are being helped by the American Red Cross.

Fire officials said the State Fire Marshal was on scene to investigate the cause of the fire, which is under investigation. There are no reports of injuries in that fire.
