Nightly closures of SR 434 under I-4 planned for Mar. 18-19
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is planning closures of State Road 434 in Longwood where it passes under Interstate 4.
The temporarily closing at night will impact both eastbound and westbound traffic, between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. on the nights of Monday, March 18, and Tuesday, March 19. The closure is necessary for bridge work.
If traveling eastbound on SR 434 to eastbound I-4: follow signage to westbound I-4; exit westbound I-4 to SR 436 (Exit 93); turn left onto SR 436; follow signage to eastbound I-4 on-ramp.
If traveling eastbound on SR 434 (west of Montgomery Road): turn right on Montgomery Road; turn left onto SR 436; follow signage to eastbound I-4; exit eastbound I-4 to SR 434 (Exit 94).
Traveling eastbound on SR 434 (east of Montgomery Road): travel westbound on SR 434; turn left on Montgomery Road; turn left onto SR 436; follow signage to eastbound I-4; exit eastbound I-4 to SR 434 (Exit 94) OR travel westbound on SR 434; turn left onto SR 436; follow signage to eastbound I-4; exit eastbound I-4 to SR 434 (Exit 94).
