Multiple shots fired in parking lot of Orange County restaurant

An aggravated battery with a firearm occurred in Orange County very early on Sunday morning.

The Orange County Sheriff's Office says that on September 16th, at approximately 3:25 a.m., deputies responded to Chimis on Semoran Boulevard in reference to multiple gun shots being fired in the parking lot.

Upon arrival, deputies say that a large crowd was observed dispersing on foot and in vehicles. Witnesses provided information on a possible suspect, a male between 20 and 30 years old, and a potential victim seen limping away from the scene.

Around 4:24 a.m., the victim was said to have been located at Florida Hospital East with a non-life threatening gunshot wound to the leg. The victim, a 23-year-old male, was uncooperative and declined to prosecute in this case.
