Mission offers shelter for men as temperature drops
ORLANDO, Fla. (FOX 35 WOFL) - The Orlando Union Rescue Mission (OURM) announced today that they are opening their doors, free of charge, to men seeking emergency shelter during this ongoing cold front.
OURM's Men's Center will extend its capacity until the cold weather surprises. Doors will open Wednesday evening at 9 p.m.
The influx of additional guests requires extra items to care for them. OURM says that donations are always welcomed and appreciated. They are also requesting assistance from individuals, businesses, schools and churches for extra donations of blankets, twin size bed sheets, pillows, towels, jackets, socks, and hygiene products.
OURM Men's Home is located at 410 West Central BLVD, Orlando, Fl 32801. They can be contacted at 407-423-3596.
