Marijuana mailed to Atlanta high school
ATLANTA - Police are investigating an illegal delivery that was sent to a metro Atlanta high school.
Officers said an employee at Carver High School opened a package that was delivered by the post office. Inside were two small bundles of marijuana. Tracking data shows the package was shipped from California on April 5.
The mail was en route to Florida, but after the delivery was refused there, the package was shipped to Georgia. But how or why it ended up at the southwest Atlanta high school remains a mystery.
Police said they do not have any suspects yet.
