Many Central Florida groups still waiting to get FEMA reimbursement

Nearly a year after Hurricane Irma, some local groups are still waiting to get reimbursed.

According to the Daytona Beach News Journal, local agencies and non-profits in Volusia and Flagler Counties have yet to receive any money from FEMA. Officials says that one reason money is slow to come back is because agencies need to fill out extensive paperwork.

The Volusia County Council is expected to discuss the issue at Tuesday's meeting.
