Manatee deaths this year already higher than total deaths last year

There have been more manatee deaths so far this year than all of last year.

In 2017, there were 67 manatee deaths. But just through July 27th of 2018, there have already been 80 deaths.

A red tide in 2013 killed 277 manatees.
