Man in critical condition after gunfire near Orange County hookah lounge
ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. (FOX 35 ORLANDO) - Deputies swarmed the area outside of a hookah lounge on Goldenrod Road on Monday morning.
Orange County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to AdventHealth East at 3:15 a.m. in response to a victim with a gunshot wound. An unresponsive man with a gunshot wound was dropped off there.
The Sheriff's Office said that preliminary investigation revealed that the incident occurred at a hookah lounge on Goldenrod Road. This is just around the corner from hospital. Deputies also went there on Monday morning to investigate.
The victim, a 28-year-old man, is reportedly still in critical condition.
A handful of people have been detained by law enforcement. It is not clear if they are being charged at this time.
