Man found dead in wooded area of Volusia County, deputies say

DELTONA, Fla. - Deputies in Volusia County are investigating after a man was found shot dead on Sunday.

The Volusia County Sheriff's Office said that they are investigating a homicide that happened on Sunday morning in a wooded area on Matthew Circle in Deltona.

They said that a man was found fatally shot.

He has since been identified by law enforcement as 23-year-old Marvin Evans the Third.

Those with more information on the shooting is asked to call deputies.
