Man found dead in water in Deltona

The Volusia Sheriff's Office is investigating the death of a man who was found in a small body of water Friday evening off Saxon Boulevard near Interstate 4 in Deltona.
Deputies were dispatched to the area near 2100 Saxon around 5:15 p.m. after a small group of fishermen discovered the man's body in the water behind the Publix at Saxon Crossings.
The Sheriff's Office dive team responded to recover the body.
The victim's name will be released pending positive identification and notification of next of kin. His cause of death will be determined by an autopsy to be scheduled in the days ahead.
