Lucky's Market to donate portion of Tuesday's sales to Second Harvest

To continue to celebrating the recent opening of their SoDo location on Orange Avenue, on Tuesday, Lucky's Market will give a portion of their sales to help those in need.

The store is hosting "Impact Day," donating 10 percent of proceeds to benefit Second Harvest Food Bank.

In addition to the donations to help out the food bank, Lucky's is also the first retail partner to sell Second Harvest's food line called Spoon Full of Hope. The line features items such as locally-sourced honey and tomato basil soup, made in-house by the charity's catering chef.

Second Harvest helps to provide meals for those in need daily and during disasters such as hurricanes and floods.

Lucky's Market opened their SoDo location on February 6 with a bacon-cutting ceremony.
