Knights add 6th home came, will host Austin Peay on Oct. 2

The University of Central Florida has added a sixth home game for the school's football team and an eleventh game this season. UCF had been forced to call off two games earlier this season due to Hurricane Irma.

UCF’s home contest with Georgia Tech was called off, while the Memphis game was eventually rescheduled for Sept. 30 and forced the home matchup with Maine to be cancelled. That left the Knights with just 10 games and only five home games.

Since Hurricane Irma’s passing, White and UCF officials have been working to add a home game to take the place of Maine. The NCAA approved a waiver Thursday for Austin Peay to add a game to its schedule and visit UCF on Oct. 28.

Kickoff time and broadcast information for the Knights-Governors matchup will be announced at a later date.

Hard tickets and parking passes will be delivered to all season ticket-holders and premium ticket-holders prior to the Oct. 28 game with Austin Peay.
