Kissimmee police searching for suspect who approached child

The Kissimmee Police Department reported that they are seeking information on a suspect involved in a suspicious incident.

They say that on January 11th, at about 7:40 a.m., a 7-year-old girl was walking on Mabbette Street to school at Thacker Avenue Elementary. The child was approached by an unknown white or light skinned Hispanic male in a white four door vehicle with tinted windows.

Police say that the male told the child to "come into my car," which she politely replied "no, thank you," and continued to walk to school. The male followed the child until she began to run away from the area.

The male is being described as in his late 20s or early 30s with a beard and brown hair.
