Kissimmee Police search for driver in fatal hit-and-run

KISSIMMEE, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - Kissimmee Police are looking for information regarding the identity of a hit-and-run driver involved in a fatal traffic crash.  On Saturday, August 29, 2015, at 2254 hours, Officers from the Kissimmee Police Department Traffic Homicide Unit responded to the area of John Young Parkway and West Vine Street in Kissimmee, Florida in reference to a traffic fatality involving a pedestrian. 

The pedestrian was struck by a light-colored 4 door Toyota Camry while he was crossing the intersection in a wheelchair and was pronounced dead at the scene.  The vehicle left the scene after striking the pedestrian.  The Kissimmee Police Department would like the public's assistance in locating any information leading to the location of the vehicle and the suspect of this fatal crash.  The Toyota should have front end damage.
