Investigation open on vandalized Volusia County elementary school

PORT ORANGE, Fla. (FOX 35 WOFL) - The Port Orange Police Department reported that detectives were investigating a vandalism that occurred at Horizon Elementary. 

An official from Volusia County School said that the damage was reportedly discovered Tuesday morning. 

The vandalism affected 18 classrooms, which is about 360 out of 800 students. Those students have been relocated to other areas on campus until the damage is repaired.
