'Goodwill' hunting for holiday gifts

From dishes and decor to trees with all the trimmings, 'Goodwill Hunting' for the holidays means second hand shopping with deep discount prices.

"What a lot of people don't know is like that little playhouse right there, that's over 200-dollars new in the store and you can pick it up for about 60 dollars at Goodwill," reveals Michelle Weaver, the VP of Retail for Goodwill Industries in Central Florida.

Shoppers can find stacks of board games and puzzles along with brand new and gently used toys. There are even some great vintage finds in store and online at ShopGoodwill.com. There's even sports memorabilia for the super fan on your list.

"It could be autographed by a college football player or a professional football player.  There are baseballs, any type of sporting equipment.  And we do get a lot of merchandise actually autographed by current players or retired Hall of Famers," says Larry Wood who specializes in vintage finds for Goodwill stores in Central Florida.

Weaver and Wood like to say shopping for gifts at Goodwill is the gift that keeps on giving back. So if you've never thought of shopping second hand for the holidays, it might be worth checking out this year. You never know what you might find!
