Gator creeps up on elementary school

NAPLES, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - The Collier County Sheriff's Office reported that a 7-foot-alligator had wandered onto the walkway outside of Corkscrew Elementary School in Golden Gate Estates Tuesday morning.

Students were already in class when the reptile appeared on scene.

Cpl. Reichard monitored the gator until a trapper arrived.
