Food truck hub planned for Orlando

A tasty new business plan is coming to Orlando and it's being fast-tracked by City Hall.

Fox 35 reporter Dana Jay reports that April and Dustin Williams, after moving here from the West Coast, came up with the idea to fill an empty lot with food trucks, a covered dining area, and a bar.

April Wiliams spoke on food truck hubs, telling Fox 35 that "My husband and I have a tendency to disagree on food. We love these because I can get what I want, which is almost never what he wants. But, we can sit down at a table together and usually share the table with people we have never met before and get to know them."

This sort of hybrid foot truck meets restaurant situation is totally new for the City of Orlando. The city has been working with the couple on some zoning issues and expect to have it open by midsummer.
