Flagler County Sheriff’s Office shuts down drug house, arrests five in Palm Coast raid

Five suspects were arrested Tuesday in Flagler County after an apparent drug house raid.

What we know:

Early in the morning on February 4, the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Unit (SIU) and SWAT team executed a narcotics-related search warrant at a residence in Palm Coast.

The home, located at 34 Woodhollow Lane, had been placed on the Sheriff’s High-Interest Target list following numerous community complaints about suspected drug activity, disturbances, and suspicious persons. The warrant was the result of a three-month investigation into drug activity at the residence.

When the SWAT team arrived, they ordered the occupants to exit the home. Four people complied, while deputies were required to enter the residence to secure and remove two others, authorities said.

During the search, detectives seized fentanyl, methamphetamine, marijuana, and other controlled substances.

The five individuals arrested were transported to the Sheriff Perry Hall Inmate Detention Facility.

"I want to thank the community members who ‘saw something and said something,’ putting this smorgasbord drug house on our radar and helping us shut it down," Sheriff Rick Staly said in a statement. "Poison peddlers and drug users may think they are being discreet, but their drug activity never goes unnoticed, and it is only a matter of time before our SWAT team and SIU arrives to shut down their business and put them in the Green Roof Inn."
