Fatal pedestrian versus train crash occurs in Longwood
LONGWOOD, Fla. (FOX 35 WOFL) - A fatal pedestrian crash involving a train has occurred in Longwood.
The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) says that troopers have arrived on scene of a fatal train versus pedestrian crash that occurred in Seminole County at 10:40 a.m. Sunday.
They say the crash involves an Amtrak train and a pedestrian. It occurred on Ronald Reagan Boulevard and Longwood Lake Mary Road. The pedestrian was pronounced dead on scene.
None of the approximately 100 passengers on the train were reported as hurt.
