Even more legal trouble for Comedian Katt Williams
Comedian Katt Williams is back in the headlines again, this time for reports his former assistant is suing him over an alleged assault.
TMZ.com reported Angelina Triplett-Hill filed suit against the Georgia resident. The lawsuit claims Williams flew into a rage on the set of a movie in Los Angeles in 2014 and ordered her into a van.
The lawsuit obtained by TMZ goes on to claim Triplett-Hill was hit in the face, and thrown to the ground, knocking her unconscious.
Triplett-Hill reportedly spent 3 days in the hospital following the incident. The suit seeks $1 million in damages.
TMZ said they reached out to representatives for Williams, but did not receive a response.
Earlier this year, TMZ reported a separate lawsuit filed by a woman also claiming abuse, but with overt occult overtones.
Williams has also been arrested several times in 2016. An incident at an Atlanta nightclub involving his entourage on February 28 led to five women accusing Williams of attacking and robbing them.
Then in Hall County in March, Williams was accused of assaulting one of his bodyguards and a 17-year-old boy in separate incidents.
Williams was then arrested in East Point for a fight inside a restaurant on April 27.
No word on the current status of any of those cases.
