Dump truck collides with overpass, temporarily closing I-75

SUMTER COUNTY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - A dump-truck was traveling northbound on I-75 in the center lane with the dump bed raised, according to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP).

FHP says that the truck attempted to travel under the overpass of CR-514, causing the raised bed to collide with the overpass.

The crash closed the northbound lanes of I-75 and traffic was been diverted at Exit 321. CR-514 was also closed as well, as inspectors determined the structural integrity of the roadway.
