Driver shot, killed in Port Orange road rage incident

Port Orange, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35 ORLANDO) -
The Port Orange Police Department is investigating a road rage incident that left one driver dead.

Officers responded to the intersection of Ridgewood Avenue and Dunlawton Avenue in reference to a shooting on Sunday.

After a minor crash, investigators say Robert Gelles, 63, of Holly Hill, shot the driver of the other car.

The driver was taken to Halifax Hospital in Daytona Beach, where he was pronounced dead.

An autopsy will determine the man's cause of death.

Gelles was arrested late Sunday night.
