Deputies search for suspect behind fatal apartment shooting

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. (FOX 35 WOFL) - An accused killer is on the run after gunfire breaks out at a Central Florida apartment complex. Deputies are offering a reward if you can help them catch the suspect.

On late Wednesday night, the Orange County Sheriff's Office released a CrimeLine bulletin asking for more information on this fatal shooting. It includes a picture of the victim who was killed yesterday by the gunman.

The fatal shooting reportedly happened in broad daylight and forced nearby schools to go on lockdown. It occurred around the same time that schools are released. 

Neighbors called 911 after hearing gunshots. They found the victim of the shooting bleeding from a gunshot wound. He was taken to the Orlando Regional Medical Center, but he died from his injuries. 

A $5,000 reward is being offered to anyone with information leading to an arrest. Anonymous tips can be made at 1-800-432-TIPS.
