Deputies: Puppy stolen during Ocala home burglary
OCALA, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - Crystal Fye told Marion County deputies that she and her boyfriend left their Ocala home Tuesday evening to have dinner in Williston. According to an incident report obtained by FOX 35, Fye told deputies they returned to find that someone was inside their home.
The report states that Fye told deputies someone they didn’t know entered their home through her bedroom window, by removing the Plexiglas window. Fye said the unknown suspect(s) went to the kitchen and grabbed her dog cage, with her dog still inside.
Fye told deputies a $32 necklace was taken, as well as her 12-week-old, full-blooded grey and white, blue-nosed pit bull. Her dog has a spotted white coat. She said she paid $200 for the dog.
Authorities are asking anyone with information about this home burglary to contact the Marion County Sheriff's Office.
