CSX train strikes pedestrian, injuries are life-threatening
ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. (FOX 35 WOFL) - Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) has confirmed with Fox 35 that a CSX train has hit an adult male pedestrian at the intersection of S. Orange Avenue and 4th Street in Orange County.
They say that he was trying to cross the train tracks when the armbar was down. He was not directly hit, but some part of the train hit him.
According to Orange County Fire Rescue, witnesses said that they saw the man get hit by the train.
Orange County Fire Rescue also said that one male patient was transported to the Orlando Regional Medical Center. His injuries are life-threatening.
